1. Overview
The Ethernet converter is an interface converter. With special IC
and microprocessor, conversion is achieved between RS-485 data signal
and Ethernet data signal based on TCP/IP protocol. Your device with
RS232/485 serial port can "immediately" be connected to Ethernet
through the converter. It needs +12V power supply and features small
size, reliable performance, built-in TCP/IP protocol station and
easy to operate. The Ethernet converter can widely be used for security/administrative
system of the attendance, networking automation system of the production
equipments, monitoring of telecommunication/optical fiber system
and manufacture flow, networking system of medical/laboratory equipments
and long-distance transmission of video frequency signal etc.

6. Notes
1. Please check the part number of the products carefully in accordance
with packing list and product labels before apply them in your system.
2. Make sure to connect the input signals, outputs and power supply
correctly and properly before power on.
3. Tools of Microsoft WINDOWS are used for configuration of the
converter. Please refer to the Instruction of the software for details.
4. RJ45 is a socket for Ethernet cable.
5. Conductive dust and corroding gases may damage the circuit and
connections. They are hazardous to the product. Don't operate in
that environment.
6. Please ensure the terminal screws are tightened securely and
reliably before measuring with probes of meters directly on the
terminals.
7. If several converters are mounted together, keep a space more
than 10 mm each other.
8. Don't disassemble the converter. Please avoid impact or falling
down from a high place. Do not remove or damage the labels on the
product.
9. Please take additional and reasonable means for lightning protection,
especially when the input and output wires of the converter are
exposed outdoor. |
